Most of the ingredients we use are grown right here on our fourth-generation family farm, a place I have proudly called home my entire life. It was on this farm that I discovered my love for both baking and gardening. Some of my fondest memories are of working alongside my mom and grandma, learning treasured family recipes, tending the garden, and discovering the joy of creating delicious food from ingredients we had grown ourselves.
Today, that tradition continues in every item we make. Our baked goods are made from scratch using the freshest homegrown ingredients possible, bringing the flavors of our farm directly to your table. From harvesting produce in the garden to mixing dough in the kitchen, every step is done with care, dedication, and a commitment to quality.
The lessons passed down through generations have shaped not only my passion for baking but also the values behind our business. I believe that the best food starts with quality ingredients, hard work, and recipes made with love.
Now, as a parent myself, one of my greatest joys is passing those same traditions on to my own children. Together, we plant, grow, harvest, and bake, creating memories while carrying on the legacy of our family farm. They are learning the same appreciation for homegrown ingredients, scratch-made baking, and family traditions that were passed down to me.
When you purchase from us, you're getting more than a baked good. You're enjoying scratch-made treats crafted with homegrown ingredients, generations of family knowledge, and a whole lot of love. We are honored to share a piece of our family's farm, heritage, and passion with our community.

Our family has been farming in Afton, Minnesota since the 1920s, when my great grandparents immigrated from Germany and Switzerland and built a life milking Holsteins, tending apple orchards, and raising four children on this land. Four generations later, we’re still here — growing food, raising cattle, and keeping the traditions alive. I grew up watching my grandmother bake bread from scratch, learning early that the best things come from simple ingredients and hard work. Today, that same spirit fills our farm stand and baking business. My parents raise Angus and Wagyu beef. I’ve reintroduced dairy cows, on a small scale, adding Jersey cows to provide raw milk for my daughter’s dietary needs. Alongside managing livestock, I homeschool our two children, maintain a large garden, and turn the harvest into homemade goods — from fresh breads and pastries to canned produce and seasonal specialties. Honest food rooted in heritage, handcrafted with care, and shared with our community.
